Frequently Asked

What's the difference between a dedicated home theater and a media room?

A dedicated theater is a light-controlled, acoustically-treated room — usually with riser seating and a fixed-image screen. A media room is a multipurpose space (often a great room or basement) where the TV doubles as a movie display and a casual viewing screen. We design both.

Do you handle the construction work too?

We work directly with your builder, architect, or interior designer from blueprint stage. We don't swing hammers, but we coordinate stud framing, soffit details, conduit runs, and electrical so the theater is built right the first time.

What gear do you typically specify?

Marantz Cinema-series receivers and amplification, Planar large-format LED or front-projector setups for dedicated rooms, and acoustic treatments tuned to the room dimensions. We're authorized dealers for both, which means manufacturer pricing.

How long does a theater install take?

A pre-wire during new construction is typically 1–3 days. A full finished install with calibration is usually 2–4 weeks of on-site work spread over a few months, working around the construction schedule.
